oh baby | twenty-eight weeks

how far along? | 28 weeks {now hello, third trimester! i learned last friday that it’s actually week 28!}

due date: january 14, 2016

baby’s size | baby is the size of an eggplant — 13.6-14.8 inches long and 1.5-2.5 pounds

gender |  baby boy!

feeling |  overall, great! i had a rough night monday evening {i will spare you the details!} but other than that, i have been really good and honestly can’t complain. yay ♥ i love having my son with me all the time- we are buds.

maternity clothes |  i am currently up eleven pounds and it’s still a mixture. i shared some of my favorite fall maternity styles here on tuesday- hope you enjoyed!

little man clothes- be still my heart.

movement |  lots and lots. i can feel him all over now- not just in one spot.

sleep | still sleeping really well… i would love to purchase a body pillow soon, but again, i can’t complain. i have been crashing… i think it’s from bring up and about all day in my classroom {def. a high energy job!}

cravings | i am all about some healthy, crisp salads these days! also craving – a laid back and relaxing weekend. hopefully full of organizing baby items, trips to the farmer’s market, netflix marathons {what are your favorite shows/movies?} and cheese boards at home {pregnancy safe cheeses, of course + candles burning!} also hoping to carve/paint some pumpkins!

fun facts | he’s starting to develop more fat, so his wrinkly skin will start to get smoother. his lungs are mature enough that he’d probably survive if he were born now. wow! ♥

miss anything | my family in ohio! ♥

best moment of the week |  definitely celebrating baby boy with my charlotte family and friends {can’t wait to share the details soon!} it was so beautiful and memorable. i also loved a mini date tuesday evening with mr. monaco to chuy’s mexican grill {hello, yummy jalapeno sauce!} and the movie, the intern {so, so good- i loved this movie!!!} have you seen it? seriously- loved. and that is my ideal work place. plus, robert de niro’s character completely stole my heart.

how’s dad?  he’s still so supportive and is just wonderful to baby boy and i {we are so thankful for him!}

–last summer on litchfield’s shore- south carolina–

looking forward to | my parents are now coming next weekend {halloween} due to some very sad emergencies at home. i am looking forward to seeing them then though and conquering baby’s nursery/spending time together. please pray for comfort for these families involved- thank you

next appointment: friday, november 6 {i will be 30 weeks!}

    How exciting! I can’t wait for another 8 weeks because that’s our next sonogram and right before our trip to Texas to visit with my husband’s family. You’re looking great and it sounds like you’re feeling great too!

    Oh my goodness, is that your nursery?? It is TOO cute!! Congrats on your baby boy. Boys are so fun 🙂 I remember loving having my buddy everywhere with me when I was preggo! My little guy is 13 months now. I'm sure everyone tells you this, but it flies by! Oh, and I borrowed a maternity pillow from a friend (who ended up giving it to me for the next baby, if we have one!), which was the economical way to go for us – those things are expensive but SO nice to have.
