It started with a heart transplant. I couldnβt find the right Motherβs Day gift for my mom after her surgery, so I made her a bangle in memory of her donor with angel wings and a charm with the EE Cummings quote. Since then, my fascination and passion for taking discarded items and giving them a new purpose has manifested into CLT Boutique, where I make jewelry, accessories, shirts, and other handmade goods. the ee cummingsβ poem was read at both my sisterβs wedding and at mine
above is our beautiful church, st. peterβs catholic church in uptown charlotte, where we were married on june 29, 2013. my role model growing up- my cousinβs now wife, shelley, read the poem while my husband and i lit our unity candle using our baptismal candles. and now i am giving my sister this quote in honor of my sonβs baptism- so it meant a lot to me.Β
my cousin, brian, dated shelley from 7th grade onβ¦ and she became such an important part of my life. i want to be half the mom she isβ¦ she is incredible. her daughter, ansley, was our precious flower girl on our wedding day. i look up to her in so many other ways as wellβ¦Β

What I love most about Target is that I can pretty much get everything I need in one store, groceries, clothes/shoes and household goods. I love their prices and the 5% redcard discount is great!
