mind + body | my february intentions

intentions for this winter month | 

01. consistency > perfection 
02. drink a gallon of water a day
03. eat whole foods/nourish my body 
04. 8+ hours of sleep a night (not interrupted because rose still wakes up during the night) but earlier to bed 
05. morning journaling 
06. empower my loved ones 
07. love more deeply 
08. be present 
09. outdoor walks + yoga 
10. read at least four books 
11. send a few pieces of snail mail 
12. finish a few painting projects around our house
13. enjoy all the bubble baths 
14. celebrate galentines
15. clean out my car and start a little spring cleaning

if you are looking for something simple to show your kids some love this month, this is my third year doing this ‘words of affirmation’ hearts. the hearts are stickers and i put one on each one of their charts from feb 1-14. last year, parks put one on my door that said, “mom is the sweet.” and it’s still on there. they ran downstairs like it was christmas morning on wednesday afternoon when they saw they were back.
