march intentions

well, it’s been a year since i have posted about my intentions for a month; it finally feels ok to start sharing and focusing on personal healing and growth. did anyone else have a difficult time knowing march was approaching? i am not sure if it’s part of the grieving process or just the overall trauma of this past year… but the thought of the one-year anniversary of the pandemic really hit me hard. sometimes our old life feels so foreign to me. especially lately, i have been trying daily to maneuver through all the things and feelings and events of this past year while holding onto hope and the beautiful ways we came together within our communities; the saving-graces.

it’s usually an unpopular opinion, but i love winter. to be honest, though, i love all the seasons. and try to hold onto each one. the in-between, like right now, is so sacred to me. the colder months bring an appreciation for gathering around a table by candlelight/twinkle lights- savoring these last moments with the warm winter light.
