june intentions

“It was June, and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside.”
– Maud Hart Lovelace

may was full of visitors and school events and t-ball games and swim team practices. i tried to find moments with the boys to take in the cooler spring day breezes with some cookies and a honey oat latte. my main intentions for may were: read, garden, move my body. it was a month that felt hopeful; more hope than i have seen or felt for a long time. i made time, often early in the morning, for prayer and lit candles around our home at the golden hours- the waves are started to recede back into the sea.

may you all see the light that is always visible
