january intentions

“We have seasons when we flourish and seasons when the leaves fall from us, revealing our bare bones. Given time, they grow again.
-Katherine May

this year, my goal is to hopefully… flourish.
i want to break up with my phone and live again. to discover ‘real fun’ (the book, ‘the power of fun‘ was one of my first reads of the year and i highly recommend to all- it really spoke to my soul on things that i have been pondering for awhile.)

more than anything,
i want to be present- especially with those i love.

what we don’t know, we will learn.
what we don’t know, we can learn.

i plan on writing a post on this soon with more of my thoughts, but after years of a pandemic, infertility (seven seasons of trying for baby rosemary), pregnancy, and then postpartum… i am feeling an urge to live to the fullest; to embrace and to take back life.

because i know. because i deeply believe that the best days are ahead of us.
and scrolling through my phone is not it.

instead, i want to find a way to keep living in light. above us like halos

so each month i plan to focus on three main intentions to help build new habits on this journey |

01. rest/renew/read
02. grace while weaning from nursing rosie
03. reflect on the year ahead and begin to declutter mentally and around the house

february is in a few days and i will share those intentions with you all soon…
