fall fun | an afternoon at the pumpkin patch

when we were expecting parks, we lived about five minutes from uptown charlotte and decided to look for a local pumpkin farm. i will never forget driving out there and how serene it felt – it felt like the country / my small hometown … but was only about fifteen minutes from the city. and now we live about a half of a mile away. every day, i get to drive by this beautiful farm and feel the peacefulness of the trees, the earth, the air; a change from the vibrant energy of the city (which i also love). being able to have both in our lives is something i am very grateful for… here are some snapshots of an afternoon on the pumpkin farm.

if you have ever sat by the ocean or walked into the wilderness, you will see nothing but what God created. his intentions. there is no handprint of man. it is pure. it is untouched
