currently {august edition}

creating | i am beginning to create a project life book for baby boy. i LOVE the concept behind these creative scrapbooks and have adored every book i have seen on blogs. however, i am a little overwhelmed with where/how to start! any advice you have would be amazing!!
currently working my way through this great post about how to start a baby album
wishlisting | a cute and reasonable maternity wardrobe. it’s daunting to look at my closet and realize that 80% {or more} of it will not fit me soon! i have been trying to find cheap/reasonable, but yet cute pieces  i would love to keep my style. however, starting a whole new wardrobe is a little scary?! it’s also difficult to know what size to get because my bump isn’t that big yet and i know it will be getting lots {and lots} bigger soon. ps: i secretly wish i had a career where i could put on a pair of comfortable scrubs and tennis shoes daily… school clothes scare me when i get to be 8 & 9 months pregnant.
LOVE these shoes!
hoping | to start on the nursery soon! i have so many ideas and am excited to start soon! the room is now cleared out {with just a small pile of what baby boy owns so far in the corner!}
i just love this rustic restored wall below {from the creative and absolutely adorable natalie at natalie creates– go check out her cute blog/farmhouse if you haven’t already!!}
i would love to do this on one wall & am loving finding decor for a boy! it’s been really fun so far!
this is my favorite crib! simple, cute and clean
eating | lots of cereal, strawberries, and blueberries  but you know strawberry donuts are still my #1. luckily, i have only had a few during this pregnancy, but i do dream about them all.the.time. <3
watching | so a confession… mr. monaco and i are really into the bachelor/bachelorette series #bachelornation {ever since emily from charlotte filmed} our monday nights have become our ‘tv night’ where we hangout together and watch this guilty pleasure – we usually laugh a lot and take in the crazy drama. so when bachelor in paradise started this past sunday, we were all about it. sunday night is almost always our ‘takeout night’ so we ordered some chinese and splurged. and wow.  do you watch? thoughts? speaking of paradise, saturday we head to litchfield beach in south carolina for a week – so excited. it’s beautiful.

what are you currently loving?
  i am linking up with jenna and anne– thank you both for hosting!

    That maternity outfit is SO CUTE. I would wear that not pregnant. But I love form-fitting clothes like that on a bump. I just think bumps are so cute! But of course I've never been pregnant so I have no idea if it's comfortable or not. Haha. That strawberry donut…I've never seen a donut with real fruit in it. Is that sad? Haha.

    Those strawberry donuts look delicious! I've never heard of those. Where can you get them? Recipe to make them? Also, super excited about the bang scrapbook and that rustic wall is gorgeous.

    So fun to plan a baby book (although I had a little trouble on the follow-through with mine!) and maternity wardrobe. Such exciting times! 🙂 I'm doing a project life-style scrapbook for my toddler, and I found this article helpful for doing it on a budget: gingersnapsblog.com/2014/06/diy-budget-scrapbooking.html
