last fall, i started a new series on pinterest, where i highlight my style for each season. today i thought i would share some of my favorites from my summer collection - as we get ready to welcome august tomorrow. today, we are getting things back in order from a trip to emerald isle with friends over the weekend. it was 'kids-free' and was pretty glorious. we both missed parks (so much) but took in the time with some of our lifelong friends. we laughed all weekend long and enjoyed the beautiful beach home, shore, time reading on the sound, seafood, cocktails, and games. what did you do over the weekend?

here are some of my favorite looks at the moment:

loving plants more and more lately... got plants? how cute is this shirt from east + willow? and if you live/are from michigan, you need this sweatshirt or graphic tee! use code 'thankyou25' for 25% off your entire order through august 4. i think this is my favorite (plus, i love the shop owner, chelsea of east willow grove!)

one thing i find myself doing this year versus years in the past is simply embracing each season. i am trying to not wish my days away and always yearn for the next season. instead, i am trying to remember that savoring today is most important. usually, i am not the biggest fan of summer, but this year, i am embracing the heat and am trying to make the most of these days (i know fall is coming up and i love it so...) but i want to cherish this season as much as i can.

what would be in your summer collection?
