reading | miss peregrine's home for peculiar children by ransom riggs.

trying | to not get my hopes up. as i type this, the windows are open, football is about to start, my boys just brought me a pumpkin spice latte home and i have a twine + cotton candle burning, the 'farmhouse gathering' one. simply can't get enough of these beautiful apothecary candles. i am just so relaxed and feel like i practically have a pumpkin on my head. yet very well aware that the ninety degree weather will be returning later this week. but hope it's a quick return.

hoping | some prayers are answered soon for some of my loved ones. please pray for them.

decorating | a new 'secret' space in our home ... photos coming soon.

to-do listing | all about a to-do list. i purchased a happy planner from michael's (with a 40% off coupon) in may and am really happy with it so far. i usually organize my lists: store, home, dreams, and errands.

  1. I love how your boys dote on you - as it’s well deserved! I am so excited to try some of Astleigh’s candles this fall just as soon as I have some funds to play with! I can’t wait for her newest scent <3

  2. My trying looks very similar to yours. I love long summer nights but I'm ready for the humidity to break!

  3. I'm so ready for Fall weather as well, it's been warm and muggy here and I just want those cool nights with the windows open!

  4. Gack, we had about one day of low humidity and now hot again. Fall will come in its time, I guess... Sounds like a fun read - I'll have to check that one out sometime.

    Thanks for linking up!
