oh baby | sixteen weeks

how far along?   | 16 weeks

due date: january 14, 2016

baby's size | baby is the size of an avocado |  4.6 inches and 3.5 ounces

gender | a sweet little boy!

feeling | fifteen weeks wasn't the best for me  unfortunately, i had terrible nausea last thursday and friday  along with painful headaches throughout the week! hoping this upcoming week is much better!

maternity clothes | not quite yet! starting to look around what are your favorite shops for cute/reasonable pieces? i follow some cute shops on instagram but would love to hear from you!

workouts | hoping to decide on a yoga studio this week for pre-natal {charlotte locals- any favorites? i have gone to yoga one for over six years but am trying to find a more reasonable studio $ - even though i love it!! yoga is so important to me and i need to start going soon!} and walking around uptown with mr. monaco a lot this week!

sleep | this was def. my worst week for sleeping… it will be 2am or later before i fall asleep. hopefully i can figure this out before 'back to school' … however, i heard it gets worse? maybe time for a pregnancy pillow?!

cravings | none this week!

movement | sunday evening {july 26} i felt little flutters {like small muscle spasms in my stomach} it was so awesome!!! i have read that it will be much more noticeable soon!  when did you feel your baby for the first time?

fun facts | he's listening to our voices, thanks to tiny bones forming in his ears, he's growing hair, lashes, and eyebrows, and is forming taste buds {hoping he gets them straight from his parents because we LOVE almost everything!!}

miss anything | red wine this week!

but… these favorite pins made up for my lack of vino:

this hat- perfect for a winter baby!! {this baby boy is the cutest/i love this blog, rylee blake}

everything about this outfit by osh kosh! {so many memories from the past, right?}
 i love this look for winter and vintage rompers for summer
these precious sky blue shoes

best moment of the week | spending the day with mr. monaco sunday … i mentioned it yesterday on my post about salvaged beauty but we spent the day out and talked a lot about baby/went to some thrift stores/started to register! it was fun <3 i also loved chatting during book club tuesday evening {until almost 11pm} about this special journey with two girls in my group {due 12.12 and 1.8} love them both and really enjoyed our chat!
looking forward to | my energy is starting to come back!!! excited for more- hopefully soon!

next appointment | august 20 for an ultrasound!

*i loved this post by chelsea at the girl who loved to write about what you need to know about the first trimester! all so true. we are both due the same day/i love following fellow bloggers during this special time. so much great advice and lots of inspiring posts!

lastly, tomorrow is another stop on our #simplygreycoffee tour! join ember grey and i {love her} for another link-up! go visit a cafe/coffee shop today, snap some photos, and share with us! the link-up with be available for about a week after tomorrow- so you time! we would love to see where you love to grab a cup of joe and will be creating a list of coffee spots around the u.s that our readers love! let me know if you have any questions...

  3. Looking good mama! I can't believe you felt movement at 16 weeks, it was at least 18 or 19 weeks for me when I felt Sophie move. I love the outfits and diaper caddy, I may have to get one myself, it's just a stylish way to carry wipes :)
