After almost three years of living in Charlotte single and loving the entire experience, I was ready to become involved in a serious relationship again. It felt right. After several conversations with others about online dating, I decided to overcome the skepticism and spent almost three hours on a Saturday morning, with a good cup of coffee, and signed up for eharmony- taking personality tests, determining what was most important to me, and analyzing my wants and needs for a successful relationship. After six months of using the site, I will never forget the first time Tim sent me a request- I was getting a pedicure with my friend, Kate Dull, and was almost smitten just by his profile and questions- which took me about 5 minutes to respond back to- it was February 12, 2011. :) At the time, Tim was still living outside of Philadelphia and would be moving to Charlotte on February 18th. Over the next few weeks, we would exchange multiple emails and notes... Tim referred to mine as 'very enthusiastic!' ha. I learned that like myself, family was very important to him-- along with a love for food, music, traveling/culture, movies, baseball, and that his traditional morals and religious values were very strong. On February 24, 2011 we met at Vida in uptown Charlotte for some drinks, guacamole, and delicious mexican food (I should have known then!)  We talked for hours and realized that we had so much more in common than we even knew. I always said that I wanted a sweet, respectful, kind, music loving- and most importantly- hard-working man- and Tim fit that description and so much more. He continuously goes above and beyond all the time to make me happy and is so respectful to me in so many ways. We have so much fun together- whether it's traveling and socializing with others, or just hanging out at home, we have developed such a strong relationship and I feel so close to him. One thing is for sure - he is loving and kind and adores me with all of his heart and for that - I am so grateful and appreciative. For this is what I always prayed for. In 2009, I reconnected with my faith in a very powerful way and sometimes went to mass several times a week... and deep within my soul and in my heartfelt conversations with God, this is what I longed for. His laugh melts my heart and his smile is so warm. The way he looks at me is how I always wanted a man to look at me and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for bringing us together- he's 'the first thing I think of in the morning and my perfect dream at night' and I am so excited to become his wife and continue our journey together.
Tim- Thank you so much for everything you have brought to my life and for always supporting me and for continuously challenging me to be a better person every single day.
You are the most loving person I have ever met.

I have always thought of myself as a hopeless romantic. In the dating world, when I would meet someone that I felt somewhat of a connection with, I would always try to make it work. I have always loved giving girls flowers, being extremely thoughtful when birthdays and Christmas came around, and always made it a point to say 'I love you' every day.
When it was time for me to move back to Charlotte for a job at Bank of America, I was very excited. However, if the possibility arose, I wasn't sure how serious I would be able to get with a girl in the beginning of the transition since I was going into a new job, I wanted to meet new people, plus I wanted to get reacquainted with the city.
I will never forget the first time I saw her. I was walking into Vida uptown and saw this amazingly cute girl in a bright dress. Such a beautiful smile, so endearing, easy to talk to, and incredibly genuine. The first time I started having feelings for her, I remember, it was our third date when we went to see a Holocaust survivor speak. We were sitting next to each other and I started to get this warm feeling when I was looking at her. As I said, I was not planning on getting serious for a while after moving to Charlotte so this was very unexpected.
As Janelle and I continued to spend more and more time together, I started to realize that she was everything that I was looking for in a partner. I was beginning to fall head over heels in love.
When it came time to pop the question, I was extremely paranoid about Janelle finding out any of the major developments that were occupying so much of my time. The paranoia was on many levels, but Janelle is a Wolf. Wolfs love surprises, which is why I knew it was extremely important to achieve a successful covert operation.
As many of you know, Janelle and I got engaged in the amazing city of Charleston. I had known for quite a while that this was where it would all begin for us. Charleston is very close to Janelle's heart and I have begun to fall in love with the town too. After an amazing day at the beach (and Renee putting on a masterful performance acting sick on the phone), I took Janelle on a horse carriage ride, which stopped in front of the battery/shore at a beautiful park. I knew Janelle had absolutely no clue what was happening when I got on my knee because instead of jumping up and down and screaming (which I was almost certain would occur), she had the most shocked face I'd ever seen with tears rolling down her face. Victory.

That weekend was the greatest of my life.

Janelle is by far the best thing that has ever happened to me. She is thoughtful, giving, nurturing, sincere, selfless, beautiful, and so much more. Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve God's perfect angel.

I love you more than words can say. I can't wait to begin the next chapter of our lives together.

(... how lucky am i? ... and how will two sentimental people/someone as emotional as i have been my entire life- get through our wedding ceremony... :))
